About
Grow more of what you eat.
agripure is an independent publication about practical homesteading and self-sufficiency: growing food, keeping a productive garden or food forest, raising backyard livestock, preserving the harvest, and taking small steps toward energy independence.
What you’ll find here
The plant database holds growing profiles for hundreds of species — climate, soil, spacing, role in a food forest, and how each plant earns its place. The articles are long-form, step-by-step guides to homestead skills, from seed starting to canning to solar. The playbook walks the four-stage arc of building a food forest. The shop carries hand-picked tools and supplies that match what the guides teach.
How our content is made
Every guide starts from published horticultural and agricultural sources — university extension services, peer-reviewed literature, and primary growing data — and carries its sources with it. We use modern research and production tools, including AI assistance, to draft at depth; everything is checked against the cited sources and reviewed before it is published. The full process, including how we handle corrections, is described in our editorial policy.
Honesty over hype
We don’t fake first-hand testing claims. Shop product pages show their dropship source and real shipping windows. Guides tell you when something is hard, slow, or not worth doing. If we ever recommend a product through an affiliate relationship, the page will say so plainly.
