Editorial policy

How agripure is made.

Sources first

Plant profiles and guides are researched against published horticultural and agricultural sources: university extension services, government agriculture departments, peer-reviewed literature, and primary growing references. Articles cite the sources they draw on. Where evidence is thin or regional, we say so rather than overgeneralize.

AI assistance, human accountability

We use AI tools in research and drafting — it is how a small independent publication can cover hundreds of species at real depth. Drafts are checked against their cited sources and pass a quality review before publication. Botanical images on plant profiles and article illustrations are produced in-house and include AI-generated renders; they are illustrative rather than photographs of specific specimens unless credited otherwise.

Shop and affiliate disclosure

Shop products are dropshipped: each product page shows its source and a realistic shipping window. We do not claim hands-on testing we have not done. If an article links to a product through an affiliate program that pays us a commission, that article will disclose it. Editorial coverage is never sold; sponsored content, if we ever run it, will be labeled.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix the page and note material corrections in place. Growing guidance changes with new evidence; profiles are updated rather than left to drift.

Not professional advice

Our content is practical information for home growers and homesteaders. It is not veterinary, medical, legal, or financial advice. Plants described as edible or medicinal require your own verification before use — see the safety notes on individual profiles. More about who we are on the about page.
